“Continue to improve” – Kyle Dranginis

A close game against Horsens IC. How did you see the game?

It was a hard fought game, very physical between both teams. Horsens is a great ball club so were very happy to end the battle with a win.

How did it feel winning the game? And how much of a boost is the win for the team?

I think this win has given us a big boost of confidence right when we need it heading into the last part of the season. We’ve known for a while now that we can compete with any team so were very excited to see hard work paying off.

SISU looks like a totally different team, after coach Jabir has arrived, what has changed?

Since coach Jabir has arrived, we’ve made some changes within our offensive and defensive styles which has proven to be really successful. The style we play now which is more uptempo fits in quite well with the players we have. I also think that the addition of Derrick Wilson has been great. His speed and athleticism helps us out on both ends of the floor. And lastly, our whole team is finally healthy which is something we’ve been battling throughout the year.

Is there still things that the team has to work on, looking at the upcoming games and playoffs?

We just want to continue to improve our overall game not just as individuals but also as a team. I think we’re starting to click at the right time which will give us great momentum heading into the playoffs.
