Horsens IC vandt i søndags pokalfinalen over Randers Cimbria med 68-100.
Horsens IC is pokal champs, how does it feel?
It feels great to with the Pokal. Its obviously a goal to win it every year, and the fact it is held in Horsens really pushes you to fight even harder to get there so its a great feeling to finally win it.
How did you see the game?
We came out and played hard, but Randers answered everything we had for most of the first half. In the second half we really started playing good defense and knocked down some more shots that extended our lead.
There was a little fight, between Niels Krogh and Chris Nielsen, how did you see that?
The fight between Niels and Chris was unfortunate. Hopefully they can both learn from it and move on.
You where named pokalfighter, how was it to get that?
I actually didnt know they even gave that away, but it was nice to get it I guess. A few of the guys deserved to get it though and I have to give all the credit to my teammates.
What is up next for Horsens IC, a Danish Championship?
We have to keep playing and practicing hard to finish up this year and once the playoffs start anything can happen. Another gold medal is definitely our goal so thats what we are aiming for.
